Safe Eyes Coupon Code

by Ron Davis on January 25, 2006

I’m pretty proud of myself. I was trying to purchase Safe Eyes today and I started guessing at coupon codes to get one to work. I actually got one. So if you are looking to save a little cash on the Safe Eyes internet filter software, you can use this coupon code: XJHG1296AK (see note below)

I tested it, and it only seems to work for purchases of the software…not for upgrades. So if you already have the software and need a coupon code to upgrade Safe Eyes, you’re out of luck I guess. But if you’re just now buying, I just saved you some cash.

You’re welcome.

Note: The original coupon from 2006 is no longer valid, but I did find out that you can use the coupon code SAFETY to get 10% off. Just enter “SAFETY” (without the quotes) when you are buying Safe Eyes.

It’s not a serial number. It’s a coupon code to use when you buy it.

you can get into it by clicking veiw usage reports//

my mum hates me.

KEVIN how did you do it ?

would calling tech support and saying that you forgot your password work?

Wendy February 25, 2008 at 5:48 pm

Just FYI, in case it wasn’t clear, the code won’t work if you are renewing a subscription you already had.

And a note to parents considering the software – putting SafeEyes on the computer is a good opportunity to talk to your kids about how you’re protecting them, and WHY you are protecting them. My 16 year old was actually fine with it once I explained why our family didn’t approve of porn. And my 10 year old feels like I’m watching out for her. And, as one person here said, you can add sites to the allowed list, which I did for certain sites I felt my kids could handle. Once they had some say in what they could do on the computer, the complaints stopped.

Shannon February 29, 2008 at 2:24 pm

I was laughing so hard at these comments on here. The program must work very well…lol

Stephen February 29, 2008 at 6:54 pm

Safe eyes is ruining my life is there anyway without asking my parents that i can hack it without saying there is a loophole, i need something!

Paul March 10, 2008 at 9:23 am

Coupon code ‘workingmom’ just worked for me. takes one-yr to $39.99. I’ve had no problems w/the pgm during the 30-day trial.

matt March 14, 2008 at 6:52 pm

You could just go to Add/Remove Hardware, and remove it from there. I’m not going to try it though, my dad would kill me

safe eyes fucking sucks man
the only reason my parents have it is cus THEY got to have all the fun and watch allll the porn they wanted and everything when they were kids and they decided to make MY life miserable and block myspace and other personals- JUST BECAUSE.

everyone who hates safe eyes shud come with me wen i get older and burn down the building…i got the number for customer service and have been calling and cursing them off all day, i even asked some of the guys there to tell me how to override it but no one was nice enough. Safe Eyes stresses me out so much and im constantly in fights with my parents about it, if i ever meet the person who invented it, i might honestly beat them till they cant get up. Anyhow if anyone would like to call and harass the customer service people, the number is:

1-877 944 8080

make sure u *67 it if you dont want them to know its you…maybe if we get enough people to piss them off they’ll give in…but prob not at all, but hey its really fun to do anyway

mike April 1, 2008 at 8:52 pm

i feel exactly the same as mark
i think i’ll give them some calls

Bitch April 3, 2008 at 2:42 am

I hope whoever invented Safe Eyes dies a terrible death

coolguy October 18, 2008 at 7:10 pm

use coupon code: Filter20

Jibosh October 20, 2008 at 5:38 pm

I have figured out a way to “glitch” safe eyes so as to let you bypass the block on the site of choice.
Unfortunatley I won’t be telling you how because then the safe eyes techs would find it and patch it up less then a day.
Too bad for you

P.S if you’re a safe eyes techy i would be willing to sell this too you

Daniel November 9, 2008 at 11:32 am

I’m 13, none of my friends have safe eyes and its driving me up the ****ing wall! My dad actually has no reason for putting on there, must make him feel important. I’m still looking for a way to get around it but nothings working! its too good the fucker!

Daniel November 9, 2008 at 11:34 am

How come it doesn’t work with me!? I have firefox

Daniel November 9, 2008 at 11:37 am

lol ty

Daniel November 9, 2008 at 11:44 am

I will find Canberra, rip his eyes out! Tell his mother that he doesn’t love her. Shove his foot in his face! And tell his family he killed himself because he hated living with a bunch of miserable old gits! Whats wrong with Canberra! Is he trying to ruin our lives!

Dan November 12, 2008 at 11:12 am

Woo hoo! ZEIG6275RD just saved me $20! Thanks so much.

Jamie November 13, 2008 at 5:23 pm

Safe Eyes is great. I’m glad it’s out there. But I hope there are better ones too.

Jamie November 13, 2008 at 5:50 pm

Thank you Ron for the original coupon. It saved me $10!

I just did a renewal, and my 2 options were: 1 year at $50, and 2 years at $80.

I didn’t want to commit to 2 years, so I phoned up Safe Eyes, and had the gall if they had any coupons or discounts. Well, my work paid off! Just phone Safe Eyes and ask for the $10 discount on 1 year subscriptions! No need for the 2 year subscription!

Jamie November 13, 2008 at 5:52 pm

To the young kids here, if you want to surf porn for 5 hours a day, well, you’re gonna have to get your own computer.

Your parents have Safe Eyes for a very good reason.

If I had kids, I don’t even know if I’d let them have an internet, let alone an internet with Safe Eyes. So, be grateful.

Jamie November 13, 2008 at 5:54 pm

Folks, you don’t need a coupon code period. Just call them up and they’ll give you a discount if you ask for it.

Yu Tang November 16, 2008 at 4:10 pm

The Safe Eyes customer service is very friendly. They gave me the coupon code APOCHPHTEN so I saved $10 for the purchase. The tool worked adequately for the purpose, although it could be better if the admin functions can be accessed remotely via a browser.

Mark Heil November 26, 2008 at 1:39 pm

Just used the code Yu Tang posted and it saved me $10. Thanks.

Jacob November 30, 2008 at 1:48 am

it may be true that it’s impossible to get around, but a basic understanding of html and file locations allows you to block access to reports in 1 keystroke so no one can review sites visited

ky December 2, 2008 at 7:44 pm

hey cant u uninstall safe eyes or does it stuff it up lol

Paul December 3, 2008 at 3:23 pm

I like safe eyes, even though I am 16…except for the fact that it has stopped working and my parents won’t fix it. I can get to a total of three sites now, which are Facebook(Only the homepage), Google(but only with the google toolbar, and then only with specific words in the search toolbar), and this site. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem? When it blocks sites that are on the “allowed” list it says, banned for auction, discrimination/hate, chat, free pages, and free ?uhm? something or other.

Paul December 3, 2008 at 3:31 pm

sorry, me again. Now my internet is failing, which never happened before safe eyes was installed. Whenever I go to a site…it works for two second then the internet says that it has stopped working. Is this in any way connected with safe eyes?

Ron Davis December 3, 2008 at 6:32 pm

Hey Paul, call their tech support. 877.944.8080. I’m sure they can get things working for you.

Paul December 4, 2008 at 7:52 am

Thanks, I needed that number. I will be sure to call them to get this fixed.

Jahmekyat December 10, 2008 at 5:05 pm

For all of you youngsters out there that want to see the internet without any goggles on, just go to your local library and use their free internet service and computers. Most libraries, due to first and other amendment rights have non filtered internet access.
Heck, you’ll be going the the library so much, your parents will think that your studying your arse off!

Just a little tip from your uncle Bob…..

Sarah December 19, 2008 at 4:28 am

I hate safe eyes. I have been trying for 3 days to get around the filter. But it blocks all the loopholes. Please tell me how to bypass it.

Marty December 20, 2008 at 12:59 am

by the way my advice to kids who *hate* Safe Eyes and similar programs: get over it because internet filtering technology is only going to get better and more difficult to hack, crack, break or bypass in the future. Get a computer science degree if you want to know how to get around them, but by then you’ll be old enough to make your own decisions anyway.
My guess is you’ll be glad to have these programs when you have your own families.

llb December 21, 2008 at 1:34 am

I have been working hard for 4 days to get around safe eyes. I would like to help throw the inventor down a well. I have tried everything. And it blocks when I use firefox or opera too. It blocks everything. I hate safe eyes. I want to punch the inventor in the eye.

chase edwards December 24, 2008 at 12:20 am

i havent attemped a hack safe eyes (yet) but i have annelized the files and i think that if i use the info from the files and .dat type files editing on the notepad i can work somthing out. and to the entry a while back…teenagers CAN hack, and i will prove that… i just want to be able to use my fourm sites and stuff. my parents also FORGOT THE F**KING PASSWORD….!!! geekdaddy January 14, 2009 at 10:57 pm

The 10% off code for one year renewal provided by Yu Tang didn’t work for me :(

I called safeeyes to renew and they offered me $5 off. Was hoping for $10, but $5 is better than nuthin!

BTW — my kids whine all the time about safeeyes. They don’t like cleaning their rooms nor doing their homework either ;-)

somebody January 20, 2009 at 6:44 pm

ok, i have no clue how the internet and proxy stuff really works but i need to get around safe eyes. Any1 know how?

arie hatswara February 6, 2009 at 5:16 pm

nope not yet…

arie hatswara February 6, 2009 at 5:17 pm

oh shut it

Tim February 14, 2009 at 8:55 pm

for renewals, try code: zbrown10

Shane February 17, 2009 at 2:47 pm

Tim, thanks bro zbrown10 got me $10 off my renewal!

The comments above from kids trying to hack is pure comedic genius!! ROFL!!

It’s like there is alocked door that leads off a cliff and they are bent on getting inside. I promise they will think differently when they have their own family. and to their parents who installed safeeyes in the first place, kudos. Most parents couldn’t give a crap about want their kids see on the net; because in fact the father is probably indulging as well.

I am eternally grateful for InternetSafety.com and their SafeEyes program. I’ll be geting it for my iPhone in 2 weeks! OH WHAT! Lookout kiddos, mommy and daddy are coming after your mobile p0rn device….I mean iPhone too! God bless SafeEyes! and Tim.

Epona March 13, 2009 at 7:47 pm

Used the zbrown10 code for my renewal today, took $10 off the one year price. Thanks :)

And I have to say I just love all those comments from pissed off teenagers at not being able to get around SafeEyes. Music to this mom’s ears :) All I can say is with time comes maturity and understanding.
