A Teenager Again

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

The kids are with my parents this week, and today we acted like teenagers:

  • We slept in.
  • We ate an unhealthy breakfast.
  • We went to White Water (a water park in Marietta).
  • We ate lunch at 3pm.
  • We played video games in the afternoon.
  • We listened to music our parents wouldn’t like.
  • We went shopping.
  • We had a milkshake shortly before supper.
  • We ate pizza for supper.
  • We are staying up late to play more video games.

This “being young” thing is wearing me out.

Gaines @ 7:56 am:

Too bad your list didn’t include:

“We went to see Matthew Perryman Jones in concert at Eddies Attic.”

Chris Hubbs @ 8:15 am:

I remember the rude awakening after my wife and I went to Six Flags a couple of years ago. At the end of the day we were thinking “wow, we’re not in high school any more…”

Sounds like a good time, though.
