Updates
In the past 2 weeks I’ve had about 5 people tell me I’m a good writer, and 3 of them weren’t even related to me. That, of course, means that the people who read my blog have no clue what they’re talking about. Nevertheless, I got inspired from all of the comments, so I decided to get a little creative for those times that I’ve got a busy day but still want to post something.
I am trying to find a new way
To update my blog every day.
A quick limerick
May just do the trick
When I’m booked but have something to say.

You do have a very cool blog, and a literate cat instead of a dog. At the end of the day, I look to see what you say, and then I can sleep like a log!
Check out an issue of the Saturday Evening Post sometime. Every issue they have a limerick contest. You have to write a limerick about a Norman Rockwell type picture they post each month and if you when you get a $100 prize.

We tried a couple of time and had some really good ones. I think part of it is you have to get your entry in as soon as you get your issue. I remember reading a few of the winners and thinking that mine was so better than theirs.
