Far From Today

Thanks to Arthur Alligood for the slap in the face I needed this week.
tomorrow makes so many promises
are they empty just like a politician’s
or will tomorrow keep its word
and we’ll realize in the morning
that this is the better life - we’re living it
and nothing do we lack, no nothing at all
a bigger house, more money in the bank
couldn’t add a thing to all we’ve got.
(That’s from the song “Far From Today” on Arthur’s CD “Under the Gray.”)
And if you’d like to sign up to slap Ron in the face, send me an email and we’ll see what we can work out.

Chris @ 6:04 pm:
Maybe we could do something like the Scott-Adams-Second-Life-Digital-Nard-Kicking event that I blogged about!

*slap*
Ron- “Why are you smiling?”
Me- “Because I know something you do not know.”
Ron- “What is that?”
Me- “I am not left handed”
(Please excuse my Princess Bride geekery, but the image of giving ol’ Ron a good slap across the face, is just too good to pass up.)

Arthur Alligood @ 3:13 pm:
Thanks for the kind words or should I say violent words. I love when music does that.
Ron Davis @ 3:30 pm:
yeah, music’s pretty awesome sometimes.
