Home At Last
We’re home from our Christmas trip to the Carolinas. It was fun, but it’s always nice to be back.
I’m on the bed right now, catching up on some email and all of my regular reads. I hear Randall Goodgame singing “Tractor Tractor” in my son’s room. My wife is in my daughter’s room, training Trevor, our new virtual dog (the best kind) on the Nintendo DS. The cat is by my head, purring very loudly, thrilled that her people have returned.
And now if you’ll excuse me, there’s a Wii in the living room just begging to be played with. I guess I should get right on that…

We traveled too. There is no place like home huh. Glad your wife is available for coffee again…

Well well, nice of you to return. I have been alone in this house too long. I have tested all of the sleeping surfaces in the house and found that the mans bed is most comfortable. In fact, I did not even bother to get up when the visiting lady arrived. She finally figured out that I was not going to take my shot unless she came looking for me and gave me love first. She is pretty nice, but she is not my human and she refuses to stay the night. Anyway, I have to go make myself known as my humans are very busy ignoring me. Apprently there is a white box with two remotes with the letters Wii on it that is far more interesting than me. Kitty
