Rolling Day (or, The Day of Rolling)

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I have no recollection of how this started, but basically Sarah has challenged me to spend an entire work day seated.  If it works well for me, we may expand it.

Basically I stay in my seat except to go to lunch (roll to the door, then get up) or to the restroom (also roll to the door, then get up).  Obviously these rules aren’t too well thought out, so it’s possible (yea, probable) that there’ll be amendments to the rules.

Rolling Day is tomorrow.  I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting to tell you all how it went.

Mike Cole @ 9:10 am:

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Tanya @ 1:49 pm:

Do you have problems staying in your seat?

Ron Davis @ 2:01 pm:

No, not really. I just accepted a random challenge. I’ve done crazier things though…

Ron is bored and needs more to keep him occupied. Suggestions include:

Make him type with a 4×6 index card pressed between his lips. The card must stay dry.

Staple his underwear shut.

Have him balance a book on his head. All the time. Maybe a college art history text, yeah.

Send him to the store in search of a left handed smoke deflector.

Please use these suggestions as inspiration for your own.
Thanks. (pththth)

Travis @ 6:40 pm:

Cheater! I saw you out of your chair.

Ron Davis @ 6:46 pm:

Rolling Day ended at 5:45. I was caught by Travis standing at 5:51.

Congrats on your day of rolling. We will see tonight how said day impacted your spine :)

Travis @ 5:41 pm:

Actually my comment was made right after the said incident. Time of comment… 6:40? What your timezone settings must be off, it was 5:40. Argghh, foiled again!

Travis @ 5:41 pm:

Yep, the time now is 4:51.
