I got my copy of Andrew Peterson’s book in the mail yesterday. What’s that you say? It’s before the release date? How did I manage to get an advance copy?
I’m excited to announce that moreron.com will be part of the Andrew Peterson blog tour. That’s right, folks, I’m gonna read a book.
The review will go up the week that the book is released. Until then, I’ve got to figure out a clever way to give away the 2nd copy of the book they sent. (Yeah, I got 2 advance copies. I must be special.) One copy was for me, and the other copy is supposed to be given out through my web site.
Any ideas on clever ways to give away a book?

You can give it away easily — like I plan to do — by asking people to post in the comments and then using random.org number generator to choose one. You can make your commenters jump throgh a hoop by having to check out AP’s website and answer a question or just accept any comment. Or you can have a contest for best limerick about why they want the book…it’s up to you! Just wait til next Monday. I’ll post my giveaway then and if you get confused you can do what I do. I won’t mind.
I kind of like the contest idea…it makes people work for their free stuff…but then the winner can still be random. It’s all whatever you want…it’s your blog, after all!

I’m planning on doing a huge giveaway, with the book some of AP’s music, etc, though I haven’t worked out the details yet. I’d have them jump through a hoop…better for AP that way.
