Selig to Retire

by Ron Davis on November 29, 2009

Phil Rogers with the Chicago Tribune is reporting that Bud Selig will step down as the MLB Commissioner after 2012.  That’s the best news I’ve heard all week.

Maybe former owner and huge baseball fan George W. Bush will take the job?  I’m not saying it’s a good (or bad) idea, but I’m pretty sure he can’t expand the size of the federal government from that role.  Put that one in the “pros” column.

well if Bud waits until 2012 maybe we really will be seeing the end of the world by then, i’ve always said it’d be a cold day somewhere hot (like Phoenix or Tampa or something) before we ever got rid of Bud.
