It’s that wonderful time of year again when we start looking forward to pitchers and catchers reporting to spring camp. It’s also the time of year that Dad and I finalize our Spring Training trip schedule.
Here’s where we’ll be:
- 3/24 (Wed.) – Phillies vs. Braves in Orlando (day game)
- 3/24 (Wed.) – Nationals vs. Yankees in Tampa (night game)
- 3/25 (Thu.) – Braves vs. Pirates in Bradenton
- 3/26 (Fri.) – Rays vs. Blue Jays in Dunedin (day game)
- 3/26 (Fri.) – Phillies vs. Yankees in Tampa (night game)
- 3/27 (Sat.) – Yankees vs. Tigers in Lakeland
We’ll leave early on Wednesday to get to Orlando for the Braves game, and we’ll head back to Carolina after the Yankees game on Saturday. Then I’ll be back home sometime Sunday afternoon.
If you’re a baseball fan who has never been to Florida for Spring Training, you should definitely go. The weather is always great, and the MLB atmosphere in a minor league setting is awesome.
