Supernanny & The Facente Family
I found out this week that a friend of mine is going to be on TV Friday night. His family is the focus of this week’s Supernanny. I don’t know anything about the show, so if it’s stupid, I’m sorry. It sounds stupid enough, I know. But I’ve heard good things about it around the office.
Trae is a pretty cool guy - outside of that fact that he’s a Bush-hating liberal [hi Trae]. He worked with me here in Kennesaw for 3ish years before moving away. I don’t really know the family though, but Trae is pretty cool, for a liberal.
Anyway, if you’re bored on Friday night at 8:00 (I think, check your local listings), tune the TV to ABC and watch the Facente family. Then, as soon as it’s over, turn back over to FOX before ABC brainwashes you with their liberal, America-hating “news” reports.

Well,
THey may be cool, but if they’re on Supernanny, odds are, they are horrible parents (or at least they’ll be playing them on TV). That show makes these parents look like the biggest idiots in history… maybe they are, maybe they aren’t, but that’s sure how they make it look. Then the Supernanny comes in and shows them everything they’ve been doing wrong. It’s okay… the main draw is to see the crap the bratty little kids try to get away with.

what would be really cool is if there were some talking blues type of song about reality tv…

gregmuzak,
Hopefully, the show doesn’t cast them in too bad of a light. From what I know of the family, they have 4 year-old twins PLUS a 3 year-old that is autistic. I think even the best parents in the world would be challenged in that situation.
gregmuzak @ 12:20 pm:
Oh absolutely…
I’m not saying that the parents actually are bad… just that to make the show entertaining, they usually make the parents look like idiots.
I have one son and it’s hard enough… I can’t imagine 3 kids under the age of 4. I’d need a super-nanny too!

Reality TV isn’t really “reality” by any means. Oh, and Ron, I’m not a “liberal”…more like a moderate and I have to say what a wonderful job Bush has done for our country. Doesn’t everyone agree? (:->)
Seriously, Thanks for being a great freind Ron. I do miss hanging out with you. I’ve moved to Charleston to work for (gasp) the compition (namely Andover.) They have a great product that does not only hvac but security card access, dvr, etc. So, let me know when you need some contols…haha.
Take Care,
It was great finding this! :->

I’m a parent of an autistic child and its a lot of hard work. Im glad these parents got the helpneeded. I found it sad that they stuck the little boy and the end of the table to eat by himself but at least now things are better. my best to the family
